''Educating the Deaf from 1826, a collaborative research project''

Come and listen to some stories about one of England’s early Schools for the Deaf. The West of England Institution for the Deaf was a FewForgottenWomen Research Project for which Helen took a lead role. Our talk will include the stories of pupils and staff as well as some insights into early education of the profoundly deaf.
